"Jeff fr front desk is very friendly and welcoming. The valet guy was very nice and helpful letting you know options that is best for customers as we are thinking of either doing self parking or valet service. Sorry i wasn’t able to get his name. He welcomed us back with a smile. Makes you feel welcomed. Best spot to stay when you want to go nearby studio city. Glad we stayed overnight. Worth it! "

"What a great place to stay! Shawn (or maybe it's Shaun or Sean) and Xavier were fantastic hosts. The hotel is in a great location, walkable to lots of good restaurants, and (if you're a fan of classic TV) the Brady Bunch house is less than a mile away!"

"Fantastic hotel, great staff which is willing to share insider tips on where to go in greater LA area, cozy rooms with balcony. Rooms have minibar but there is also a Ralphs in 5 min walking distance. The Garland offers parking to a cost, but there is free parking across from the hotel on Alta Vista road (read the parking restrictions carefully). Pool has 2 hot tubs, one for adults-only. Bar opens to the pool, take advantage of Happy Hour. Diverse entertainment program: live music, movies at the pool etc. Free shuttle to Universal studios. Great restaurant attached to the hotel and I can only recommend the breakfast buffet. But there are also dining and breakfast alternatives in walking distance. It was our first, and not last visit to The Garland. Highly recommend!"
