"Not anywhere close to 5 star… seems poorly managed but staff tried to help where they could. Pool was a DISASTER with dirty towels everywhere and no employees in sight. Elevator broke one day, no hot water in the shower one morning, gave me the same room as someone else at check in which was awkward at the room door! Literally one hotel Pilates class offered over my 7 night stay. Guy behind the breakfast counter this morning was also so rude when I asked if I could move inside… funny as they automatically add 20% tip to counter orders. The dinner staff were lovely - Brenda and Kean I believe - true professionals with smiles on their faces. "

"Perfect location for traditional touristy activities, staff are lovely and property is clean. Noticed lots of stores have closed down since we were there 2 years ago, also the streets are looking worse for wear - if you can look past that and appreciate where you are, nothing beats this hotel. "

"Staff were wonderful, and I have no complaints there. However, the hotel feels very outdated for the price. Additionally, the pool was closed and this was not mentioned at the time of booking. The “hills view” upgrade was definitely not worth it. The window was very dirty, or there may have been a film on the glass that made the view look blurry. There also was not much of a hills view to begin with, especially for the price. The TV was also outdated with no option to stream, which felt disappointing given the cost of the stay."
