"Front desk guy with the piercings and jewelry was somehow annoyed that we interrupted his Instagram time or whatever he was doing. However, other than that one individual at check in, the entire staff was friendly and attentive. From the bartenders to the elevator and front door staff to the maids. Each and every interaction was attentive and courteous.
Hotel location cannot be beat! Everything we wanted was within a short walk or 5 minute can ride.
The hotel itself is perfect. It's new and fresh, our room was well laid out and had a fantastic view. I would recommend wearing a sleeping eye mask. While there are motorized black out blinds on the windows, the flashing lights of the enormous electronic billboards outside will blink their way through the smallest of uncovered cracks around those blinds. Yes, gaps quite literally fractional millimeters allow just enough light to slip through. But, a simple sleeping eye mask will cancel that slight annoyance.
The rooms are quiet, I never heard my neighbors nor street noise.
If you only have a weekend in NYC as we did, I cannot recommend this hotel enough! Outstanding stay! "
