Excellent service

I loved staying at the Sofitel metropole, it was a wonderful experience. It's the second time I have been there and had really looked forward to returning and it did not disappoint. The level of service is really excellent and the staff anticipate your every need. I stayed in the historical wing and the room was really beautiful. The food and bar choices are also fantastic with a lot of different experiences on offer. I couldn't fault it. It's one of Asias great hotels!

This was a lovely hotel. The staff were friendly and very helpful. The food was excellent and the cookery class a great experience. The added bonus of an upgrade to a suite for our last night just capped a perfect stay.

Great location in Hanoi! Beautiful hotel…infact stunning! Good pool/outside bar area on roof. Amazing staff: so attentive. We arrived very early in the morning due to our flight’s timing. We were prepared to sit and wait in the lobby but they put us in the spa so we could sleep on beds: so kind. Thank u Minh! The room was really good & the breakfast buffet had everything, with really diligent staff! I could not fault this place!

The staff were extremely attentive and pleasant at the hotel - special mention to the staff on reception. We really enjoyed our stay. The hotel is ideally located by the old quarter and by the lake, convenient to shops and restaurants.

We stayed three nights, the staff were very helpful and the rooms well equipped but not large. The location is very central but quiet. The restaurant is excellent.

Very clean

This is an amazing hotel in the Old Quarter, central to everything. We were at the back of the hotel, so very quiet as the streets are noisy and there is often live music in the street close to the hotel. Staff are very attentive, and friendly and are happy to talk about their country and way of life. Many thanks to Chester & Don. We would definitely stay here again if we went back to Hanoi.

Everything was exceptional. The staff, the amenities, the facilities, the room, EVERYTHING has been absolutely outstanding. We do travel a lot, but no other hotel has come close to the level of hospitality and attention to detail we've experienced at the Capella in Hanoi.

Arrived late for a last night stay and had a small but luxurious room. Fantastic breakfast and staff were very obliging.

We've stayed at lots of hotels during this 3 week trip to Vietnam and I can certainly say that this is by far the best overall for hospitality, comfort, and value for money. The staff were so good to help us when our trip to Halong Bay got cancelled by bad weather. The rooms are modern, comfortable and clean, with modern lighting and a luxurious feel to the furniture and decor. The breakfast menu had a wide variety of options and the restaurant staff were the most professional I've yet...

Very convenient to most of the places.

The location is perfect, close to attractions a short walk away from Hoan Kiem lake area. The staff are so helpful, giving useful tips. The room has everything you need. A comfortable stay. Would recommend.
