"Hotel was perfect for our overnight visit to the City. Quick walk to the Broadway (#1/ Red) subway downtown line to have dinner at Times Square and see a show. (Look for the Banksy mural ("Hammer Boy") on the walk from the hotel to the subway too!) Also a quick walk up the street to go to the Museum of Natural History/ Central Park. (Note:There's an umbrella in the room if you forget yours.) Breakfast place on site, but also a lot of great options nearby. Staff was wonderful with a quick check in. We weren't aware of the fact that the hotel had a partnership with a parking lot a couple of streets away (iPark on 143rd West and 83rd St). We parked at the garage across the street (pricey and tight) and were running late so we didn't move our car. Highly recommend- would stay there again!"

"The heater didn't come until 6pm and temp outside all day was 47 degrees in NYC. My room was chilly and I wanted my room warmer before I took a shower. They bought me a room heater to plug in the wall. I thought was very odd and unusual. That's the only issue i had. The room was clean and comfortable bed. The carpet in elevator need cleaning or new elevator flooring. "

"The air conditioning unit was malfunctioning, maintaining a room temperature of 80 degrees. SO HOT. The window was broken remaining open, and despite multiple requests to the front desk for assistance, no one arrived. We had to keep calling and calling. Furthermore, housekeeping only visited the room once. "

"Absolutely absurdly small and dark room advertised as being suitable for 3 people. There was nowhere to place a suitcase, no bed side table, no chair at the desk, no hooks anywhere to hang a towel. We were climbing over each other. We stayed one night and checked out early to stay elsewhere. Staff at breakfast were friendly but we had to get out of there. "

"My first room was incredibly hot. I complained 4 times. The first night I couldn’t sleep.Staff kept saying it was the AC and I needed to give it time. I had to ask for a new room. The AC was broken. I am a frequent customer. I should have been offered the new room right away. Apparently I was not the only one with this problem. I will need to reconsider my choice for accommodations in October."
