Wonderful stay here for 4 nights with husband and daughter. We had a ‘two doubles’ room, which had lovely comfortable beds and little kitchenette with full size fridge. We enjoyed a lovely complimentary breakfast each morning with fruit, pastries, bagels, yogurt and granola. On an evening we went up to the rooftop terrace with a bottle of wine and enjoyed the amazing views and sounds of the city - and the location is excellent, couple blocks from Time square but didn’t feel noisy or busy. We had a wonderful stay at this hotel. A special mention goes to James, the manager, who was incredibly helpful, thoughtful, and made us feel very welcome throughout our stay. The hotel is also in a great location for Times Square, making it easy to explore the city and all the main attractions. It was also great to be able to help ourselves to coffee and snacks throughout the day, which was a lovely touch and much appreciated. If I wrote about just how good this hotel is I'd need a lot more characters and you'd think they were paying me. I've stayed in many hotels, a considerable number having more stars than the Luma, but never have I experienced somewhere I cannot fault in any respect. The room was equipped with absolutely everything you could need (8 power sockets and 16 usb ports, 4 of each on both sides of the bed?!) it was quiet, the beds were comfortable, the bathroom spotless and there was a turndown service...

The hotel itself is clean and centrally located for NYC tourism in Times Sq. the staff are great, breakfast included was a good start to each day and the price we got through Expedia was a bargain. Be warned that there is a migrant shelter directly opposite the hotel which can be intimidating as large groups hang around outside - the hotel have a regular security guard and the NYPD are outside the shelter all the time.
