We truly dropped lucky when we booked The Carnegie Hotel, our first time in New York. On arrival we were greeted in a very friendly reception by Elijah and then by Alexandra who was a pleasure to chat to every day discussing all our adventures. Stones throw from Times Sq so perfect for a four day theatre visit. Had a 44th floor Deluxe King room, facing south, with a partial view of Times Sq. Huge windows made it bright all day, but there are effective blackout blinds at night and there’s virtually no noise. Really nice hotel located near Madison Square Garden. I booked an Empire view room so I get a great view of the Empire State Building. The hotel is clean & modern & the room is a good size with a great bed & good shower. The room has air con. It’s close to all forms of NY transportation services & loads of shops,delis & bars nearby. I would stay here again. The staff here are all pleasant & helpful.
