I really appreciate the hotel "refunding" the resort fee by offering $30 free food and drinks daily.

In order to clearly convey what this hotel is lock, I pasted an email reply that I sent to the hotel room coordinator who solicited my comments. Generally we had a very enjoyable stay. It was very nice that the resort fee included mini bar credits as well as the $30 daily credit for the lounge. We did not get to use the laundry or Citibike credits but it was a nice touch anyway. I generally resent the resort fee that most hotels charge these days but if they all included something other than free internet then I would not mind at all. The included breakfast was also excellent. We got an exceptional rate that with the included perks basically cost us next to nothing. So, my companion (who speaks very little English) said "thank you room for the great but very weird stay". Things were weird in the room. I will explain further. So the room was nice but for more than one night there were flaws that really grated on me. I am being picky with details for the their benefit, not because I have major complaints. The statement I made to the front desk was "everything is a little broken". Here are the details. When I arrived, the room was hot so I opened the window (a small odd shaped window). When I went to close it upon leaving I noticed that the top hinge disconnected from the frame and I could not close it. That was fixed by engineering while I was away from the room. Not enough room to fit the entire message. I would stay there again. It was not a four star hotel but they try.
