"Great place to stay near grand central"

"All the major characteristics were excellent or very good. Restaurant was especially convenient and reasonably priced. Staff friendly and welcoming, especially my maid who made a point of cleaning my room during the hour I spent at breakfast. And, you can’t beat the midtown Manhattan location, particularly if you’re traveling by train."

"Was chaotic while checking in. The hotel definitely is not prepared to handle large crowds and the elevator system takes forever for a large number of requests. The rooms are good for NYC standards and the bar was nice."

"Excellent location and staff were very helpful. The room and bathroom were cleaned everyday. The only downside was that there were no tea/coffee making facilities at the hotel at all. However, there is a 24hr shop 2 doors away that sells all foods and drinks. We would recommend this hotel."

"I was very happy with my stay . They upgraded my room to a suite . The king bed was so comfortable. Maid was very nice. Because I was a solo traveller they included lunch at a nearby deli. Loved my stay ! Not first time at the Edison."
