We had to change rooms because the first room was a dud. The tub wasn’t draining properly. Also there was evidence that this room wasn’t taken care of, plus the furniture was very old. I know there’s a lot of foot traffic due to this being New York Times Square. However, I guess I figured better upkeep with this being a Westin property. The salmon in the restaurant was really great. I do plan to return and I would stay again if it’s in a room like the second one we were moved to.

I stayed in a room that was dirty, dusty and unsanitary. I found long hair everywhere from previous customers. The staff were so sweet. The man who came to help me fix the tv was very sweet.

Location wise it is great as this hotel is just around the corner of Time Square but still quiet. When we arrived in the morning our room was already available which fantastic after travelling. Also the help of the staff at the front desk was very good. With a room on the higher floors you are getting a great view of part of the city. And close by is a big subway station(42 street) which gets you around NY easily if you do not feel like walking. We have stayed here in the past and in July again but for sure if we would go to New York again we would love to stay at this hotel again.
