The only issue we had was we were told to order our car 1 hour ahead form valet when checking out. When we did we were told it would be two hours. Which wasn't good for us cause my son had a show he was in that afternoon back in RI. Really want their fault cause they has a last min. staff shortage. And they did get our car for us faster than the two hours. So things happen and they did what they could to fix it.

Took interminably long time to check in on Friday evening- one person manning the desk.. Would have been nice to let guests know they can check in online and get a digital key if they are Hilton Honors members. Bathroom was slippery and I slipped and fell.. But no serious injury.. Would be wary if I was bringing older relatives to the property. Also, the empire state building view gave us a view if just the very top of the building - and we paid nearly $490 per night through Expedia. On the plus side, clean, quiet hotel with friendly cleaning and restaurant staff.

We enjoyed being near all the major attractions, and everything we wanted to see was walkable. Some of the staff were terrific; some were unfriendly. Very high bar and food prices.

Wow so from the multiple torn and broken curtains to the back pealing paint in the bathroom, it was lack luster. Should have just booked the cheapest room cause the upgrades were not worth it. The “Times Square view” was barely a view of a Times Square sign.

I recently booked a Deluxe Queen room through Expedia, paying extra specifically for this option. However, upon arrival, the front desk informed me that they didn’t have a Deluxe Queen room reserved for me, despite the fact that I had paid for it. Their explanation was that since I booked through Expedia and not directly with Hilton, the room type was considered a "request" rather than a guarantee. After a lengthy conversation with the manager, I was given a queen room, but it was not the Deluxe Queen I had booked—it was a standard room, with no view as advertised. Overall, this experience was frustrating and fell far short of what I expected, especially at the price of $450 per night. The hotel itself is not up to the standards of a 4-star establishment. The rooms are outdated, and the service leaves much to be desired. For the price, I would not recommend staying here.

The central location is good for transportation but it’s right in the middle of Times Square and it’s noisy and dirty and there’s A LOT going on. Luis in the convenience store is awesome and friendly. Housekeeping knocked on my door before 9 AM every day and that’s odd and ridiculous. The room is fine, but the bathroom is old and needs some remodeling. The elevator broke down and no one told us and the phones in the hallway and room didn’t work. When we asked when the elevators would be fixed, the staff was rude. Also they nickel and dime. $35 urban retreat fee, $100 resort (?!) fee, $50 early check-in fee? Other hotels in and near Times Square did not charge me these fees. Probably my last stay here.

Bathroom shower head didn’t work properly. Closet door didn’t hang properly. All elevators didn’t work one evening. Clearly some mechanical issues. Music way way too loud in lobby the whole time.
