"I have travelled the world and this is one of the worse hotels I have ever stayed in. The room was in such a bad state of disrepair. The Shower was broken, large hole in ceiling around the shower head. Toilet seat chipped and toilet didn’t work properly, paint work around bathroom door was tatty and a huge amount of dust in the corner of the door frames, there are no tea or coffee facilities in the room which was small and dark and a noisy generator outside the window. Also tatty torn carpets in hall around the lifts. We asked the receptionist if we could change and she was most unhelpful and advised there was not a room available."

"We loved our stay at this stylish, warm hotel. The staff are lovely. Our room was very comfortable, clean and the location is accessible to all on the Upper West side, and where ever else you want to go-Subway lines, Uber/Lyft, Cabs, and public transportation. I love walking over to Central Park. Breakfast coupons are included for the next door bakery or can be used for cocktails in the gorgeous lounge. Viva Belleclaire!"

"We have stayed at the Marquis twice now. The amenities included is what brings us back. This year we were disappointed in the available tix included in the destination fee. The hop on/off was only available on certain days which did not cover Friday or Saturday. The wax museum and history museum was removed and nothing else was added. For a longer trip (4 days) we were not able to utilize this to its maximum. Other than that, we love the convenience of location to Times Sq, Broadway shows and subway stations. I would recommend it to anyone traveling to this area of NYC. "
