Ibis Birmingham New Street Station Hotel
10/10 Excellent
"Really friendly and I could stay with my dog and a good price"
"I discovered this hotel two years ago when needing somewhere to stay after moving my Nephew into his student accommodation! First impressions really do count as every time I come to visit him in Birmingham, THIS is the hotel we choose! From the very first visit we were made to feel so welcome & relaxed. The hotel is immaculate, food fantastic, the rooms spacious & again super clean! All the staff are amazing! My most recent visit July 2025 I was back to stay after having emptied my Nephews flat! We were shattered but we were able to come back here & just relax & switch off! My Nephew will be going into his third year at University September 2025 so we will be back very soon when we are down moving him in again!
Thanks again to ALL at the Clayton for always looking after us! It really is appreciated! See you in September!

"This was a gem of a find and only booked as another hotel we usually use for hospital stays was having air con issues. Will always use this hotel in future for stays at Birmingham children’s hospital or future nights out"
"Was there for an event and rated two nights. They were slammed but did a good job addressing all those checking in. The room had no ac and no windows and it was the summer so it was incredibly hot and no air flow. The bed was not all that comfortable but the room was everything we needed and the location was excellent. Lots of restaurants, pubs and shops and basically steps from the train station. They provide soap, shampoo, coffee and cookies. Staff were helpful and the place was clean. "
"Absolutely impeccable service from Adagio from every single member of staff I encountered. Very friendly ambience. In particular, Andrew on reception was exceptional. Every request I had, he fulfilled to the highest standard. He is always happy to help with anything you need to make your stay more satisfying. I also appreciated the other gentleman who delivered towels to my room. The apartment/hotel room itself exceeded my expectations. The room was so much more spacious than I imagined. I enjoyed the layout of the room and all the lights available as I prefer well lit rooms. Very clean and modern with large windows allowing lots of natural light. The blackout curtains truly block out every inch of light to give you a well rested deep sleep. The way the staff put customers first and care about their service definitely makes me want to return on my next visit to Birmingham. Thank you so much. "
"Great hotel! Recommend highly. The room was comfortable and spacious. Ditto for the bathroom. Minor amount of wear and tear. Unfortunate that the coffee maker leaked. Exercise room was basic although warm.
Terrific breakfast!"
