"The staff were friendly but hard to get ahold of, but some allowances can be given for this as it was Fathers Day and the restaurant downstairs was very busy. The room was clean but some basic maintenance issues that we’d pointed out on a previous stay were still an issue; the vanity seat was dangerously wobbly, one of the bedside lamps didn’t work, the safety cable on the window was still broken and there still wasn’t any hooks in the bathroom. When I made a cup of tea the milk provided had gone off, it was replaced quickly enough but it lead me to wonder if the items in the room were replaced/checked daily. We don’t expect perfection for the price point, but some of this is basic maintenance."
