This property is on Broad street above a nightclub. I was kept awake until 3am with load music and vibrating bed with the noise. I complained and was told its the location which would have been fair if i was advised before staying. AVOID this hotel if you want any sleep and the hotel at those prices £150 a night needs to invest in acoustics. I was on the 5th floor

Great location and lovely rooms, good selection for breakfast. The only negative was the terrible noise whenever the shower or sink taps were turned on and when the toilet was flushed. Also the noise from the bar next door but this was to be expected I suppose with the location.

Disliked: Staff & service
Parking hard to find, draught drinks not working, noise (music) from nightclubs making sleep difficult, massive queue for breakfast despite booking. Wouldn’t stay again. Have complained.
Upon arrival and check-in I was offered a 'disabled persons room' on the top floor (17th) and the furthest room away from the lifts. I was happy to take the room, it was fine - I had not disclosed in my booking I am a physically handicapped man and reception did give me the option of an alternative room. The disabled lift at the front of the hotel was not working so it was a struggle with luggage & laptop case. The bar was not able to serve any draught beers apart from Guinness and yet American Budweiser half pint bottles were being charged at £5.00 per bottle - full charge for the room and no discount on the bar with no full service in place - strange, questionable? People weren't staying in the bar long. I have stayed at this hotel many times and always liked the position, atmosphere and service of the hotel & staff.

Quite a nice stay, except the sofa bed is too old and not comfortable at all..
