The staff that we dealt with were very helpful and polite, there just weren't many around. Breakfast was chaotic and not easy with a young family. They don't book times so it meant we were left on bar stools with a 3yr old and a newborn. The room was nice enough - clean and enough room. The sofa bed was a little rickety and, whilst it was okay for a 3yr old, I would worry about it for an older child.

I paid 110 pounds for a room on a weekday that didn't have air-conditioning , when I placed a complaint they provided a fan . In the morning the room was like steam room . Worst experience so far , and I have used this property twice before never faced anything like this .

The hotel is in a great location, near all the shops but in a quiet area, the staff are wonderful and helpful. The room we stayed in wasn’t the cleanest, marks on carpet and lamp. But overall not too bad. The room itself had most facilities you’d expect, would have been better if it had a fridge.

Breakfast was terrible. Hotel was very full so long wait then very limited food on offer. Hardly any cooked food, no juice, no fruit and they even ran out of bread at one point. We were told hotel was too full for them to cope.

Would otherwise have been acceptable for the price, less than other typical local offers from the other chains. But broken sink tap (hanging off sink), broken door security latch, very noisy plumbing in ceiling, room a bit smelly (due to mechanical ventilation and sealed windows?).

"Hi there 🖐, Just wanted to share my experience at the Holiday Inn. It was absolutely great 👌, spotless room and a roomy bathroom. Just one blot on the landscape - their car park pricing is astronomical! 💰. They were spot on with all their promises for a comfortable stay though. However, I'm still chasing a refund for the car park cost, which was £30 for a mere 9hrs. I was given the impression of a discount on my room by the reception, only to realise on check out that it was still outstanding. Quite disappointed with this 😔."
