"Memorable Experience"
Basically it all depends on what you are looking for. If you want a ritzy all out resort with huge pools and all the bling this isn't for you. If you want a great beach to hangout on, down to earth, fun, courteous staff, clean rooms, good food and a laid back memorable experience this place is might be for you. I had a great time here and would definitely go back.

"Great place to stay in Cancun for reasonable price"
We stayed at this hotel for 5 nights/4days. Truly enjoyed the experience. 2 pools and beach were just steps from the hotels back doors. The gardens and yard was kept very clean and trimmed. Breakfast buffet was very good the 3 mornings we attended -basically same menu all days but with a slight twist on the menu items ex. Different types of quiche. Omelettes were made to order in front of you if you wished. We ate at "The Grill" 2 evenings - menu offered sufficient variety. We were offered a deal where if you prepaid $100 USD you would get $200 in charges... So 1/2 price - this made the meals more affordable. Glad they had this offer. Make sure you check where you are at with your pricing and buy additional if necessary. We did not but at check out the lady at the desk understood that we were busy and had neglected to check- she did allow us to buy additional. Thank. You!! We did appreciate it!! Staff were all happy to please. Beautiful white beach which is kept fairly clean- the palapas were back close to hotel and were for hotel guest use only. The beach is federally owned so we had to share with whomever came but lots of room for all. The Beach Bar and Grill had delivery to thr palapas on a regular basis- ate here once - very good. Try their lemonade- very refreshing!! We understand that at the end of April 2014 the hotel will be owned by another owner. Asked the staff how it would change- said that they did not know. Clean!!

"Great hotel for the price. Amazing hotel view!!"
I stood in this hotel since March 14th to March 17th, 2013. I was really impressed by this inexpensive hotel. The hotel room was big and with a beautiful view to the ocean. The room had a flat tv, small refrigerator, air conditioner and the bathroom had good water pressure. The hotel was clean and the staff was very friendly and always very wiling to help you. The location was closer to most of important areas. I recommend to rent a car so you can visit other beaches. This is definitely one of the best hotel i have stayed for the price. If you are looking for an inexpensive and good hotel, this would definitely be your first choice.

"Perfect spring break"
this is a beautiful hotel at the end of the hotel zone. the staff and servers are the nicest in the whole wide world! We did not have to leave the hotel or anything. all inclusive means that everything is provided for your comfort. There's a show every night and it was pretty fun. Very romantic spot and not too crowded where it becomes obnoxious. Already planning to come back here for next year.

    Pocket Guide: Cancun

    Step back in time

Famed for its ancient origins as much as its current-day bustle, Cancun's Mayan Ruins take in striking architecture, spectacular art, and culturally diverse structures. Between the 1980s and the present, Cancun has transformed itself from a jungle village into a diverse holiday resort comprising ancient relics and sandy beaches, and providing a haven for water sports fanatics and beach holidaymakers alike. Buttressing south-east Mexico's coastline, this part of the Yucatan Peninsula contrasts Caribbean-facing luxury hotels with bars and restaurants overlooking the romantic Nichupte Lagoon.

Ancient Mayan Cancun has more than left its mark on the modern incarnation of the city - most obviously in the form of Chichen Itza, the cultural center of Cancun. The Kukulkan Pyramid forms a striking figurehead, standing at a height of over 75 feet as part of the ancient mysterious city. It's also worth spending some time at the archaeological site so that you can experience the less obvious points of attraction, such as the Cenotes (sinkholes), an ideal setting for a solid day's freshwater swimming.

    Interact with nature

Enjoy views of the Cancun jungles with some horseback riding --it's the freest way to explore the matchless destination of Cancun, a truly different taste of the Mexican way of life. And why not swim with dolphins? You can be a part of their aquatic world, and experience their serenity and benevolence face-to-face. And if that's still not enough then why not visit Xcaret, an ancient Mayan village which now comprises an underground river, aquarium, and aviary? It's a truly unique experience - an otherworldly paradise.

If thinking outside the box is your thing, spend some time in Tulum; set atop a cliff overlooking the Caribbean, Tulum is home to Xel-Ha, the world's largest natural aquarium. Tulum's structures date back more than seven centuries, and the 40-foot high El Castillo pyramid is the aesthetic focus.

    Regional specialities

Downtown Cancun gives a taste of the local way of life with a plethora of regional specialities ready and waiting. Be it indigenous cuisine, live music, or local handicrafts you're after, it's all there; it's a taste of the true Mexicana to contrast with the Americanized city center.

Accommodation can mainly be found in the famous Zone Hotelera, an area shaped like a '7' featuring bridges connecting to the mainland. Rough beaches envelop the vertical side of the '7', while the horizontal end provides a tropical paradise for surfers and sun-seekers alike. The 14-mile beach stretch is where the city comes alive at night; the vast selection of bars and clubs means there is bound to be one to suit your taste. The area undertakes the great feat of transforming itself from the world's second largest coral reef during the daytime to a lively party city at night.
