"The Omni La Mansión Hotel at the Riverwalk in San Antonio was a perfect venue for my husband and I to spend our 50th wedding anniversary at! The location was perfect, the staff is incredibly knowledgeable of their jobs and they’re kind and courteous as well. It’s an older hotel which has been well maintained and updates have been made over the years. Our room was pretty, well equipped with amenities and very comfortable. "The days that we stayed was worth the long bus ride. The hotel staff was very welcoming. We got a chance to explore the area a little. So many things to do, very much loved the scenery and the food was amazing. During our stay we ventured to the convention center for a local convention it was awesome and so much fun. The hotel is run by Sotherly and they had some nice touches - lemon cookies in the room, a veteran-focused foundation that they make you aware of, etc. The 1st floor bar, with an outside space, looked awesome. I just didn't have time to visit. The location is fine - a little on the outer edge of that side of downtown. I was close to my venue, so it was perfect for me. The only thing to note...
