Drury Plaza Hotel San Antonio Riverwalk

10/10 Excellent

"All started off at check-in where Lisa was excellent. Beds and pillows were very comfortable. Rooms were cleaned and maintained daily to a high standard.Elevators are very fast and usually not long to wait for them. Only downside was the valet parking, upon arrival, i was advised by the lady who took my vehicle at the valet check-in that they would send me a message to my phone with a link that i could request my car whenever i needed it and it would be brought to me at the hotel. I never received the link and it was just a minor inconvenience when leaving the hotel as i had no link to request my vehicle. Being a large hotel it gets very busy at breakfast and at the free drinks and food special in the evening. We found that the only way of getting a table was to go to the area at least 15 minutes before the stated time otherwise you will not be able to find a seat/table. But overall excellent value!"

Sand Rose Beach Resort

"Great place for the price! Right on the beach so getting to the sand/ocean was easy. The couple of times I needed to ask the staff for help they were all friendly and quick to get us what we needed. The room was nice and large but the bathroom shower was looking very bad, needed to have the tile redone maybe, it looked like it was sinking in around the edges. The main reason for only 4 stars is that there was only 1 elevator working for this large hotel. That was ridiculous, but honestly even if the other 1 had been working I feel even that would not have been sufficient but it would have been better. Parking situation was atrocious as well so plan for that!"
