"This hotel thrives on its kitsch factor. So, doing it once felt necessary. The beds and pillows in the room were pretty bad. Did not have a great night’s sleep. The eco-friendliness of the hotel lacks seriously. Styrofoam coffee cups, many small lotion/soap containers. The vanity is crowded with things where a coffee/beverage station could be made elsewhere. For a one night it was okay, but wouldn’t stay again. The restaurant, historic that it is, is also a one time try. Food was actually pretty good. A fine oiled machine that very popular place is. You decide which part or hotel and/or restaurant you want to enjoy."

"The check-in staff were friendly; however, that is really where the good ends. The room I was in was on the 3rd floor. Immediately after arriving to the room a housekeeper came in, without knocking. Said she was "checking" the room. Why not knock first if you weren't sure if it was occupied? The carpet in front of the elevators and the halls were coming up in several places, making it near impossible to roll luggage on it. The trash by the elevators was constantly overflowing. The air conditioner worked well, but was so loud and interrupted our sleep each time it came on. The bathroom and towels all had hair everywhere. A large floor lint roller and wiping hair from the shower and bathroom walls would have been a nice touch. The breakfast area had plenty of options; however, we did not eat it because the overall dirtiness and neglect throughout the hotel had me concerned about the cleanliness of that area. Hotel was in a convenient location. I would not stay here again unless the management team put quite a bit of TLC into deep cleaning, fixing failing issues (air and trash) and replace carpet."

"Parking was the only thing I can say was adequate. The hotel from top to bottom is old and dirty. There is active drug use that you can smell and people that are hanging around your vehicles. I had to get up and move my truck to a different part of the lot because when I looked at at 1230 am in the morning there were people right next to my truck. The staff was very accommodating because I had two instances I needed help one being my TV and one being my lights and both times the staff came to my room and fixed it. There is no security staff and the desk is closed all night. I did not feel safe."
