As soon as you walk in the staff are so welcoming and friendly and the place smells devine! The hotel manager Rose was lovely and took the time to talk to us whenever we saw her. We had a Metropole Suite room with a balcony which was fabulous! Breakfast was fantastic with lots of choice & very attentive service and all the staff came out of the hotel to wave us off which was lovely 😍"

"We spent a great deal of time researching hotels in Hanoi’s Old Quarter, and with so many options, it felt like a stressful decision. Ultimately, we chose L’Hotel du Lac based on its strong reviews and excellent location and we couldn’t have been happier with that choice. The staff (a special shoutout to Jolie) were exceptional, the rooms were comfortable and impressively quiet, and the breakfast was truly outstanding. Our trip to Vietnam lasted two weeks, beginning in Hanoi with a stay at L’Hotel du Lac. When we returned to Hanoi at the end of our trip, we had booked a different hotel to experience another part of the city. However, we quickly regretted that decision and spent much of our time wishing we had returned to L’Hotel du Lac instead. We highly recommend this hotel and would absolutely stay here again."
