"The staff here is what makes this hotel a wonderful place to stay. I have many disabilities and the staff has helped me at every step. The manager, Tiberius, is a special person. He has that rare ability to show understanding and compassion. I can’t fault any staff members. They are incredibly helpful. I came here from a horrible experience at a previous hotel and the staff’s kindness helped me to recover from that experience. The bar has wonderful food and less expensive for a hotel which caters to more wealthy clientele. I sincerely hope that guest take a moment to thank the staff. The staff here will always hold a place in my heart. Sometimes, staying in London can be difficult because of the staff. Come stay here. It is a special experience."

"Though the hotel is a bit dated, it is conveniently located within a short walk of Gloucester Road Station, the Natural History Museum, and the Victoria and Albert Museum. The breakfast buffet is great, and the staff are very friendly."

"I enjoyed the continental breakfast. It had ham, salami, cheese & some salad stuff. There was a variety of fresh rolls and pastries as well as cereals and fruit. I slept well here. I find it convenient that we can open the windows a bit to let in fresh air. Spacious bathroom with bath tub. I arrived at hotel at 8.15 am after a 14-hour flight. I was impressed that the reception staff let me check in immediately. It helped me so much! I love the location of this hotel too. "

"Air conditioning in my daughter’s adjoining room didn’t work. They came to fix it a few times, but failed. There was gum smeared into the carpet leaving a big black sticky spot too. Felt a little shabby. "
