"Staff was wonderful, hotel was clean, food was surprisingly good. We booked a room with an ocean view and it was worth every penny in my opinion. Docked one star simply for the condition of some of the areas around the hotel (a bit rundown in some outside areas, pool grout chipping, paint peeling in some spots - but nothing too bad) and the constant asking about spa services while at the pool. Not aggressive or pushy, just asking too much. I had just come from a massage and an hour later was being asked about spa while at the pool. I did have a massage and it was really nice - but didn’t love my facial. Overall great experience, great staff, great stuff for kids. We stayed on resort the whole time and our kids had a blast at the kids club. "

"Ocean was visible from our balcony which was the only good thing about the room. Bed was hard and horrible to sleep on. Rooms need completely remodeled. Door and walls thin and can hear everything in hallways. Doors slam shut consistently. Food was horrible and was very tired of buffet after having to eat there for breakfast and lunch every day. Restaurants for dinner had not great food and was very disappointing. Service was great and the grounds and pools were very clean. Beach front was great and loved the ocean front. Was not aware that this would be a party resort and there was lots of kids there for spring break. Yelling and partying going on all hours of the night. If you want a relaxing, quiet, vacation with a nice room to enjoy and good food, this is not the resort for you. "

"DO NOT STAY HERE. I can’t stress this enough. If you value luxury and cleanliness, this is not the place for you. Check-in is extremely long, even with online pre-check-in. You can’t access your room until 3 PM, and then you have to check in again to get your key—a completely redundant process. When we finally got to the room, the key didn’t work, forcing another trip to the desk. Staff immediately push a sales rep on you, pressuring you to attend a “breakfast” that’s really a 90-minute sales seminar with coupons and discounts you won’t need or use. The rooms are dirty, with showers and sinks smelling like sewage. Beds and towels also smelled bad, and our group experienced the same issues. Electricity kept going out, requiring a staff member to reset a breaker in the hallway multiple times. There’s no bottled water—only refillable glasses in hallway stations (I didn’t trust this)—and bars don’t provide straws, making drinks like piña coladas difficult to enjoy. Food was so bad that I barely ate my entire trip, though fresh omelets at breakfast were decent. Most staff were rude and unhelpful. The only positives are the location, pool parties, and balcony views, but they don’t make up for the disorganized, dirty, and frustrating experience. Avoid this resort. Spend the few extra dollars on a better resort! "

"This was our second time staying at the InterContinental Presidente Cancun Resort By IHG. The view was breathtakingly beautiful and peaceful, the property is clean and comfortable, and the staff is amazing! They are kind, friendly, engaging, and willing to speak in English and Spanish as your language skills/comfort allow. My 14 year old American daughter would love to see more food and dining options. But, I was content eating at the restaurant on the beach daily. Five stars across the board! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️"
