"Property needs an upgrade in maintenance. Ice machine doesn’t work room card always seems to not work cause it’s very sensitive magnets or the door lock is not working. Had to constantly go to the front desk to get a new card every single time I had to go back to my room room walls are very thin. You could hear your neighbor very clearly. AC in the elevators doesn’t work and it looks like they’re never going to work. Wi-Fi did not allow me to add a secondary device. They do a poor job promoting their own shows. I had no idea that they had shows at night, but they do promote all the other clubs and bars like Coco bongo. The amenities are nice. The staff is nice. The AC to your room doesn’t go lower than 22°C so your room is relatively warm. As a comfortability, I would say this is not the place but if you’re willing to go to a place that doesn’t have too much comfort or you won’t be having to deal with constant maintenance of getting into your room I would recommend this place, especially because of the pool the bars Jacuzzi breakfast the lunch it’s a good spot if you’re just if you’re expectation that is very low."

"The breakfast was good and fresh. The room was clean BUT the bathroom sink was cracked and slooow draining. There were no safety bars in the the big shower with great water pressure. I was really disappointed in the ocean. The room was advertised having crystal clear waters. And it was anything, but the beach in front of our hotel was full of seaweed from one end of the beach to the other.And going into the water ten fifteen feet.Nothing but seaweed, nobody wanted to go into the water."

"Ice cream shop is close by 5pm. Not fear. Should be open all day!! We all need ice cream in a hot weather!!! "

"We loved our stay at Dreams Sands. The beach was amazing and also the staff especially Jorge at the World Cafe. We will definitely be back. "

"Resort under construction which can be heard from rooms and beach all day 7 am - 6 pm. Environmental fee was $5 per room as per staff when we called before arriving, ended up being $28 per room at check in. Staff were not clear about room bracelets with a small plastic room key attached (bad quality ribbons that kept ripping and needing replacement). After 3 replacements of the bracelents we removed them and just used the key as we would a normal hotel. During checkout staff said they will be charging as we didnt have the ripped ribbon bracelets (which we werent told to keep) we returned the keys and had to argue with the manager almost missing our scheduled airport transport. The all inclusive resort had 3/5 restaurants open, 1 being a steak house you had to pay extra for... The pull out couches in 2 of the livingrooms were broken and unusable, made entirely of springs. Things were falling apart in our rooms like the tap water faucet, AC barely worked in our 3 rooms, showers were semi warm and weak pressure. The lifeguards kept asking us to not swim mulitple times a day as the waves were strong but we were just along the shore and a hit further in so the strong waves wouldnt hit, the resorts on either side had full beaches and people swimming at all hours. Staff do not communicate with each other and told us different things constantly. Confusing and disappointed experience."

"Our stay at Riu Palace Kukulkan was absolutely stunning and worth every penny. We loved everything about this resort and don't regret a single cent spent here! The culinary experience was a major highlight. All the themed restaurants were fantastic, especially the Steakhouse and the Asian food, but the seafood at the Main Buffet was exceptionally good-truly a standout! The staff members were adorable and worked so hard to make our stay feel unique and special. The entire property is pristine; our room was spotless, and all the swimming pools were incredibly clean. We had a flawless experience with zero complaints. I will definitely be visiting again. If you're looking for a high-quality stay in Cancun where you get exactly what you pay for, this is the place!"
