"An amazing service in an amazing location! We'd managed to accidentally double book, but the staff offered to refund one, even though they didn't have to! Breakfast was exceptional, massive choice and quality. We also dined in their Saigon restaurant, which is well worth a visit. Take mozzy spray, the lake does attract these unfortunately - the hotel does have plug-in repellents and flyscreens on the patio doors, but the odd one will still get in. The views and room are worth the risk, so don't let this put you off!"

They were very accommodating when our boat cruise was canceled and made a great recommendation for the Ninh Binh day tour. All of the facilities were great, and breakfast was very generous. "

There’s some building work around the hotel which finishes around 8/8.30pm but it didn’t disturb us - you’re in the centre of a very busy city so to be expected."

"Loved our stay here! The solaria is the perfect spot for a trip to Hanoi, highly recommend staying here. Lily was particularly memorable. She went out of her way to make us feel comfortable and welcomed. She was fantastic. The service from other staff was amazing. They are very friendly. They all speak English well, making it easier to communicate as a tourist. Location is perfect, easy to walk to all the good spots in the old quarter. The rooftop bar is lovely and Johnny was very energetic. We did hear some street noise but that is unavoidable in Hanoi, and Friday nights there is live music on the rooftop bar. The hotel also packed us a breakfast/lunch for our trip to Sa Pa when we checked out very early in the morning. Definitely recommend staying here! "
