"A friendly hotel in a quiet and safe area. The rooms are compact but comfortable and nicely furnished. Good transport links for the city. Nice areas locally to walk around and visit. Very helpful and friendly staff."

"Overall stay was good; check-in was smooth and the property was clean and neat. Great location. However, we had a problem connecting to their wi-fi. We informed them since check-in date and the succeeding days but it did not get sorted. It was very inconvenient as we didn’t have network in the room and we were sorting out important e-mails and bookings. "

"Our room at The Portobello Hotel was huge and richly decorated...we loved spending time in it ,which is unusual for hotel rooms. Breakfast was delightful. Staff was very accommodating including keeping our bag as we went off to Egypt. Hotel is walking distance to Portobello market and lots of great restaurants and Holland Park!"

"The geographic situation is perfect in the center of Portobello market. The view from the room makes you feel a part of it. The room itself was cosy with a sixties feeling and the bed was comfortable. There was even a basket with citruses and the ingredients to add to a glass of Gin if you so wished...On the downside, the corridor and stairs to get there were very dark and could do with a sorrow clean and brightening up..."
