"We stayed for 4 nights for a sightseeing/touring trip of Amsterdam. This hotel made our trip! Excellent location, friendly and helpful staff - everywhere in the hotel, from the kitchen, front desk to housekeeping! Sri started our morning off with a warm welcome and a contagious smile! The room was small, but very comfortable and high quality furnishings, linens and toiletries, and beautiful windows that opened so we could have some fresh air. Breakfast was amazing! There were also lots of restaurants and cafes close by, and we could walk to all tourist attractions, transportation, shopping, etc. "

"Stayed for a long weekend, excellent location and friendly reception and bar staff. Small standard rooms, clean and well supplied with quality toiletries. Nice selection for breakfast and lots of options for coffee and teas. Evening bar staff at Haxells excellent choice of cocktails and friendly with all guests making the stay relaxed and enjoyable."

"My brief interaction with one staff member was good, but the hotel itself is quite run down. The single bed was extremely uncomfortable, the door to my room didn't properly lock and the walls were so thin that you could hear everything going on around you and in the halls quite loudly. The shower was good and the sheets seemed clean, but overall cleanness was questionable. "
