It rained a lot during our 5 night stay. The ceiling was leaking in a lot of common areas, not in our bedroom which was a second floor room. Almost all of the staff is great! If you go into the quicksilver gift shop, one of the ladies working there will hover over you & follow you as you shop, so annoying. Henry our butler was friendly and attentive. Oli with entertainment is hilarious;I loved his vibe. At the adults only pool, we used one of the beer pong pool floats to play and the very next morning were approached by a worker that it went missing. I felt like we were being acccused of stealing it. I told him to go check the cameras. My guess is that it blew away or I was being played. He said that the entertainment staff buy it with their own money and he wanted us to pay him money. He said they usually rent it out. Just beware if you want to use the floats. The Don Juan has an excellent ribeye. Make sure to make a reservation at the Kabuki for teppanyaki, it’s so fresh and delicious! A few of the evening shows were canceled due to the rain during our 5 night stay. The beach is large; plenty of seats. We really enjoyed the Mar House for the buffet lunch. Warning, if you are booking through Expedia and are asked to add on transportation to/from the airport, do not book with MTS. I paid for round trip and they never showed up to take me back to the airport. Thankfully the resort called a taxi for me; the taxi cost $87 one way plus tip. This resort is a 1 hour drive from airp

We enjoyed our stay overall but we wouldn't return. First, the staff across all of the resort were all amazing. Everyone was attentive and thoughtful. We never had to wait for anything. We had an assigned butler who arranged all of our reservations etc. However, there was a storm while we visited and the hotel lobby was blocked off due to a leaking roof. While the food was plentiful, none of it was particularly flavorful. Granted, we like spicy food and travel a lot so we're a little bougie. The drinks were strong and there were plenty of seats around the pool so that's always great. There was a lot of construction nearby and it was very noisy throughout the day. Also, there is nothing walkable off resort. Ultimately, if you want to have a relaxing time, this is a fine choice.
