"Clean room, staff was very nice, however the hotel is pretty outdated, there are a lot of deteriorated areas that need attention all around hotel."

"I enjoyed my stay at Occidental Costa Cancún. It was really relaxing and fun. The staff were extremly friendly. However, I would say the food could be improved. It was often stale and cold, especially at the 24H snack bar."

"This is our second time in 2 years. First time we stayed at Nizuc without our kids, second time Sunrise, with kids. We are always very impressed with the resort staff, cleanliness, prompt service, great restaurant choices, great amenities, pretty good evening entertainment. Safe, secure property. Beach sucks. Dont stay here for the beach. The pools are great! The wait staff at the pools, and the swim-up bars are wonderful. Kids activites are more than adequate. We like Nizuc better for an adult-only trip. There are fewer children there."

"The stay was nice. I expected a little better food and more availability to the restaurants rather than the buffet. The ocean location isn’t great a lot of weed on the beach. The hotel and the pool was average not more and not less. I would not choose this stay again if prob choose a better location and nicer hotel. Less. "
