"We had a wonderful week staying at Aldea Kuká. Staff are super friendly and nothing is too much trouble. The property is lovely. Food and cocktails are awesome. Definitely the nicest sun loungers out of all the properties along the beach. Love that you can easily walk into town and to all the restaurants. "First off, the property is beyond gorgeous and the staff was attentive and so kind. I was all set to leave a fantastic review about how peaceful and tranquil this oasis in the jungle was- BUT the serene and beautiful pool was overrun with loud groups (each had their own rap music speakers blasting) … I don’t know if they were daypass holders or guests but they ruined the atmosphere and I was disappointed the staff did nothing. It was a fair distance unpaved and off road (pot holes on the road, but it is all new construction) to get to the location from the front gateway area. La chapa de la puerta está floja y cuesta trabajo cerrarla, los mosquiteros no están bien sellados, las llaves de la regadera no funcionan bien, había focos fundidos y que parpadeaban constantemente (no relacionado a la alimentación de luz solar, porque otros focos no parpadeaban). "This place is amazing! Pavlina is an amazing host and she has created a little piece of paradise in the jungle. Each cabana is unique and beautiful. This place is also kid friendly and our 4 year old son loved it. On the last night, Pavlina made a delicious meal over an open fire. Three Americans, two Frenchman, a French family, two Italians and Pavlina (Czech Republic and Tulum) spent a beautiful night night talking, eating, drinking and having fun. We will return!!"

"Pictures look better than the actual place. Location was great! But the noise situation was out of hand. Too loud in the morning -we were right next to reception and the music playing in the morning at 7:30 am was unnecessary.
