"Was chaotic while checking in. The hotel definitely is not prepared to handle large crowds and the elevator system takes forever for a large number of requests. The rooms are good for NYC standards and the bar was nice."

"I was very happy with my stay . They upgraded my room to a suite . The king bed was so comfortable. Maid was very nice. Because I was a solo traveller they included lunch at a nearby deli. Loved my stay ! Not first time at the Edison."

"I had a really great stay at Holiday Inn. The hotel was very clean, comfortable, and the staff was super friendly and helpful throughout my stay. Everything overall was excellent and I truly enjoyed my experience. The only small issue for me was the breakfast menu. Since I can’t eat pork sausage, I felt there should be a few more options available for guests with different dietary preferences. Expanding the breakfast menu a little would make the experience even better. Other than that, everything was amazing!"

"We always stay at the New Yorker when we are in New York, whether for business or for pleasure. The hotel is convenient for us for our business and for attending theatre and restaurants in the theatre district. The price is good for the value. The least expensive rooms are rather small; but some of their rooms are large with a refrigerator. The building is older but renovated. So it has the advantage of larger windows and high ceilings. Ask for corner rooms to get more windows. The staff is very friendly and helpful. And there are many restaurants and stores in easy walking distance."

"Very good neighborhood hotel. Perfect for visiting our son who lived nearby. Convenient to subway. Not fancy, but clean, good shower, comfortable. Free coffee and tea was a big bonus. Nice staff. We will be back."

"The room had a really weird, kind of toxic smell to it. I'm not sure if they just had an exterminator in, or if they regularly spray chemicals to disinfect the room or something, but I do not think it was healthy for me to be breathing in whatever was lingering in that room. It made me quite nauseous and made it difficult to be in the space. The window was also cut in two by a big slat of wall, so there was a weird barred window quality, with a sliver of window at the top and bottom, but most of the window replaced by wall. It is one of the cheapest accommodation options, but still quite expensive for what you get. If you can afford it, I'd pay a bit more for somewhere else."
