I did not like the fact that Expedia could not get hold of hotel reception to slide my stay up by one day, as after my operation at the Brompton, they kept me in hospital for one more night. Expedia thoroughly didapointed me extremely, as if they had contacted the hotel, I would not have been charged for another night stay. Really bad customer service

The room was okay, dirty window, broken/ not working air conditioning. Bathroom was incredibly disappointing, literally impossible to take a shower due to water just barely dripping from the shower head which didn’t stay in place. Also the hairdryer was overheating and switching off whilst using. Overall, not what you would expect from the 4* venue.

I am disappointed with the pricing strategy - had I cancelled and booked the day before I could have saved over £100. For me that is the difference between a 1 night and 2 night stay. Overall there is always great service and consistently good rooms - have stayed hear at least twice a year for the past 12 years 😃

I stayed here 13 years ago and it was exactly the same. Very tired hotel in need of an upgrade. Good location and price considering how close to central London. Breakfast was good. Shower in room was broke. No plug in sink. Phone didn’t work. Lifts had a kind of their own.

A very unsafe experience as a female guest travelling alone. Was placed in a room in another building, next door to men smoking/ lots of loud shouting and doors banging. One of them followed me into the lift in the middle of the night exhibiting threatening behaviour. No staff around in the building meaning walking in the dark to the main building to find security & request assistance.

Property is nicely decorated, breakfast buffet was really good. Unfortunately, the staff was lacklustre, were very slow to address a significant concern we had with our room. The area is fantastic.
