Reception manager was extremely helpful, polite and welcoming. The location is very good, convenient for Paddington but also quite, plenty of restaurants and cafes nearby and a few minutes from Hyde Park. The building is tastefully renovated and very clean.

Lovely hotel, very clean and well maintained. The staff are friendly and helpful, whilst still being professional. An easy walk between Queensway and Paddington tube stations, lots of restaurants, cafes and small shops nearby, but immediate area is quiet and peaceful. Hyde park is nearby, a good location.

Quiet, comfortable bed, room smelled a little musty at first. It was much better after we closed the window. Layout of hotel was weird. So many stairs and doors. It was a labyrinth. In case of a fire couldn't get out fast enough.

Very clean, usable room. Light and bright. Decent space for price. Nice location. Down side, 3rd floor is 4 1/2 steep flights of stairs. No elevator. Recommend showering at night. We had no hot water either morning. Having said that, I would definitely stay there again. Loved sleeping with the window open with the autumn breeze.

It was convenient to Paddington station and eateries. There was no air conditioning and on the ground floor you didn’t feel you could leave the window open over night. Also it did not have a lock box in the room for valuables.

Very nice hotel, arriving at 10.30 am I was given my room key down the basement level but was very clean and comfortable and had everything needed for my stay (fan, hairdryer, clean towels daily) Very safe area with plenty of food options within 2-3 minutes of the hotel. Easily accessible to two tube stations getting to central London in about 10-12 minutes. Dont be put of by the negative reviews this place is perfect for a stay in London and would definitely recommend and will be staying again on my next visit
