Lifts were filthy. Rooms old and worn and not the cleanest. Although it had tea and coffee and a cup . The room had no kettle . Tv had no remote . Outside and reception looks nice but once you enter the lifts it’s a different story .

Found syringes and other paraphernalia stashed above the bathroom mirror light. Black hand prints all over the wall next to the bed. Many of the lights didnt work. Smoke detector held to the ceiling with masking tape. Almost zero hot water pressure. I could feel every spring in the mattress. I dont believe the floor has ever been mopped. Lesson learned i wont be staying on my next trip.

For a budget hotel I was really impressed by the cleanliness and the customer service. I booked the double room although I went solo. The room was spacious for a single person but I think it would be too small people. I arrived well before check in time but the receptionist was so sweet he still checked me into my room . I was impressed at the cleanliness of the room and bathroom . The towels were nice and fluffy. The hotel is only 2-3min walk from the tube station with excellent and quick connection to central London .

I previously reported this hotel for various reasons, (mould in bathroom, asbestos crumbling walls, doors held on by 1 hinge, main room handle held with 1 screw, leak in sink, radiator turned on full with no temperature control window mould, net curtains ripped) I decided to give them a second chance and see if they made any improvements….. but they banned me, because I complained about the health and safety and how disgusting the place is. And they refused a refund!

The pictures on Expedia are not representative. Trash everywhere. Sticky floors. Broken locks and unworking lights in the rooms. Trash in the hallways. Doesn’t feel safe. Overall very disappointing. Wouldn’t recommend.
