"I stayed at the El Cortez over the 4th of July weekend and it was an amazing experience from start to finish! 🎆 The vintage charm of the hotel mixed with modern touches made it feel both nostalgic and comfortable. I stayed in the Cabana Suite, which was clean, stylish, and perfectly located near the pool. It gave me total classic Vegas vibes but with updated comfort. The staff was friendly and helpful, and check-in was smooth even with the holiday crowd. The location is perfect—just far enough from the Strip to be relaxed, but close enough to join the fun anytime you want. The casino floor had great energy all weekend, and the live entertainment made the atmosphere feel festive and fun. I also loved how walkable everything downtown was—so many great bars and restaurants nearby. Overall, I highly recommend the El Cortez if you’re looking for an affordable, stylish, and lively place to stay in downtown Vegas. I’ll definitely be back! "
