The hotel charged my credit card $50 for "incidentals;" however, they also charged my credit card TWICE for parking. So, I had charges of $50, $18.42, $18.42 all on my credit card instead of one charge of $50. (One of the $18.42 charges was a duplicate charge.
I talked to the front desk and they corrected it, but it was a hassle.
Also, I was not told at check in there would be a charge for parking so that was a hidden fee. No big deal, but I don't like surprises and the clerk should have mentioned it when he took the credit card for "incidentals."
He should have said. "There will be a $18.42 charge for parking that will go on this credit card as part of the incidentals."
Also, We had the Sleeping (Do Not Disturb) sign on the door; however, at 10:30 Housekeeping knocked on the door and asked, "When will you be leaving?" He woke up my two kids who were still sleeping. Check out time is 12:00. What is the purpose of the sign if Housekeeping ignores it and wakes you up?
Also, most importantly, we accidentally left a cell phone in the room but because it was an extra phone that the kids use to play on in the car, we did not miss it until 9:00 at night. I called and spoke to the supervisor on duty, who informed me she did not have a key to the lost and found, and I needed to call back Friday morning. .so we had to leave town without the phone. I have called them three times and I finally found an employee who looked in Lost and Found and located my phone.
