"We were made to feel welcome by Amy on reception. She told us everything we needed to know and was particularly helpful with a monor problem we had. Our room was comfortable and also very quiet. There was good parking facilities and the Miller and Carter was opposite for an evening meal. We had a good breakfast which was buffet style."

Only issue was the pub next door (which does your breakfast) does get rather loud and busy if you’re looking at grabbing an evening snack. There is however a Fish an Chip shop nearby plus a Greggs/Subways and Oriental Restaurant in walking distance. Best restaurant I went to was in the Billing Village (opposite the BP garage/Oriental Restaurant) called Imchai, which is a Thai restaurant and really worth a visit for a bite...

"Ok it’s a small hotel that does not have the usual gym and facilities but if all you need is a room with bath/shower it’s ok. Place could do with a coat of paint in places however the lounge bar overlooking the lake is great"
