It was a lovely building and great gardens in a nice quiet location. However the bedroom was a bit dirty and dusty and the breakfast was nearly cold no lids on anything to keep it warm as it was a self serve

Historic building - not so comfortable
This is a historic building with gorgeous gardens and grounds. However, the rooms are modest. The bath sink has a hot and a separate cold faucet. The hot water is scalding. It makes it uncomfortable to use the sink. The shower faucet similarly is difficult to modulate and snaps from super hot to cold.

Excellent breakfast as usual. The bed wasn't the most comfortable but the place is convenient for the University where I needed to be. Food was good.
