Roger, one of the managers, treated me as if I was his hated enemy rather than a customer.
Despite having a contract to work in Cambridge for 3 days every week this year I will never stay here again.
I was an acutely unpleasant experience.
The hotel accurately describes this but they have absolutely no facilities for food or drink on site.
This place is delightful and really good value for money. The rooms are lovely and spotlessly clean. It is peaceful and rural and yet 2 mins from the park and ride which is 5 mins into the centre of Cambridge. It is a delightful place. Would recommend highly for a relaxing quiet stay so near to the city. We are very regular guests due to son being at university. Breakfast at Coton Orchard is lovely and 1 min drive away.
Very reasonable price and perfectly good room with all the amenities you'd get in a more expensive hotel. Ok they don't do food but there are good eateries nearby. I'd particularly recommend the pub in Coton.
We had a superior garden room which was in the main building. The room was very nice indeed with a brand new bathroom. A lot of thought and attention had gone into giving the building an opulent feel and I would highly recommend staying there. There is a garden centre with a very good restaurant about fifteen minutes away with very good food. (Coton Garden Centre).
