Perfect location, not sure ideal for young family.
Fantastic location, friendly staff, clean spacious family room. The only drawback is the family room 1 is right above pub entrance and you can here all the conversations, shouting and expletives outside which really isn't ideal when you got young children - we've had to drown it out by turning up the TV volume. Plus the bathroom doesn't have a blind so at night if you switch the light on only a mesh curtain is your privacy which is pretty useless. Overall as long as you can cope with the drawbacks it's an otherwise good B&B.

We stayed here for one night when visiting Warwick castle. We had a family room on the top floor of the pub. The room was clean, nicely decorated and spacious and was set up with a double bed, single bed and camp bed which was perfect for us. There are tea and coffee making facilities in the room, along with a fan. Breakfast was delicious! But most of all, each member of staff we encountered were friendly and professional. We stayed on a Sunday evening, so struck lucky with the parking bays outside, but I understand there is parking just round the corner. If we are ever back in Warwick, we would definitely stay again and would recommend to friends visiting Warwick castle. A hidden gem!

The rose and crown was very central. It was clean and the beds were very comfortable. The staff were friendly and welcoming. We would stay again.

Treat yourself to a fabulous stay
2nd time we have stayed at the rose and crown, our getaway treat rooms are spacious with comfy beds, staff are so welcoming nothing is to much trouble, the food is amazing I would highly recommend visiting 10/10 oh and it’s dog friendly what’s not to love,

We had a lovely two night stay in mid-January - great location being walking distance from Warwick castle and various dining options. Easy check in and check out and staff were welcoming. We stayed in a room on top of the pub itself - this is an old building so we were a little nervous it might be draughty, but we were pleasantly surprised by how warm the room was and also the shower pressure was good. Breakfast was excellent!

Would recommend
Great service at the hotel! We had a lovely stay here and enjoyed the big bathroom, which had great water pressure. The beds were ok, not terrible, but could’ve been less springy. The room was very clean, aside from a pile of pet fur, which was next to the bedside table.

The rooms are full of character - dating back to at least 18th century - but modernly appointed, comfortable, clean and spacious. This is a superbly convenient location, overlooking the main square - in and around which pubs and restaurants are plentiful (but Warwick is quiet and sleepy by midnight!) Breakfast in the Rose and Crown itself is high quality (it's a popular local gastro-pub with a good menu for lunch/evenings). Will stay again.

Top room in square
Kids had twin beds - super comfy. Parents had sofa bed - we do not recommend! Lots of stairs up to room, fine for us with no suitcases. Feel like they need a fire escape onto roof from bathroom. Good selection of tea/coffee/biscuits, could add single serve soya milks? Great view from room, can be noisy when Spoons kicks out if window is open.

was in the heart of the town, was a tad difficult to find it initially as i didn't have Google maps available, so had to ask a few strangers on the street, but they were all very friendly & helpful, once there staff good about check in, the actual rooms are in another building only about 100 feet away on the main square....
