"My family took the Hullo Ferry over from Vancouver Island to see a concert at BC Place. We arrived during a busy time prior to check-in and our room was not ready. The Bell Service team was so helpful with storing our bags safely so we could enjoy a late lunch in the city. The front desk phoned later to let us know when our room was ready and we had a pretty seamless check-in. Upon arrival to our assigned room, we realized that there were not enough beds - we'd booked a family room with 2 King beds but this room had only one King bed. There was a long line back at the front desk but the gentleman I spoke with was so understanding and immediately spoke with his manager about our room mixup. They could not provide the room we booked, so they upgraded us to a beautiful 1 bedroom (2 bathroom), harbourview suite that would accommodate our family. He even allowed us to keep the keys for the first room so we could easily move our luggage to the new one. The hotel was a 5 minute walk from Hullo Ferry and close to lots of cafes and restaurants within an easy walking distance. Its an older hotel but has been nicely renovated and, given the room mixup, the service was impeccable. We will definitely stay here again."

"It was a shared bathroom room It was a bit of a walk with my walker to the toilet. There was a sink in the room. Hallmark Channel was on the TV"

"We stayed here for a quick overnight to see a concert at BC Place. Which was only a 10-15 mins walk downtown. We booked a compact room, which is what it was. No need for the extra space, just a place to rest our heads. It was clean, had coffee, clean towels. Washroom is European compact style, if you’re familiar with those it was absolutely fine … if not you may be a little surprised, my husband was. The room was relatively quiet except for the bed which was quite squeaky (but we got in very late so the party crowd on Granville was dying down). All in all it was nice experience and good price point noting the expensive options in the area. I would stay here again."
