I really enjoyed my stay at the reef 28 but some things could be better: the smell of humidity is really bad and all our clothes and papers in the room were humid and smelly, don't know if it was our room only or the entire complex Staff is really helping at the bars downstairs and the restaurant but really mediocre at the rooftop except one exceptionnal employee Miguel. Concierge and people at the front desk are very nice, helping and polite I recommend the Reef except these little things for the location, the options and the quality of the infrastructure/ restaurants

The hotel is in a very good location in playa del Carmen, the service was the highlight of the trip I never felt forgotten, also they upgraded my room which was very nice of them. Overall five stars. If there was One thing they can improve on is having a 24/7 restaurant as they don’t have room service.

Great overall experience! I went with a friend and had a great time meeting people. The DJ is always playing edm on the rooftop pool making for some great vibes. Food was also excellent. Only downside I’d say is that it was kind of inconvenient and cumbersome to always be tracked down to sign your bill after ordering meals or getting a drink (when you’ve paid for an all inclusive experience)

Front desk - amazing. Bell Desk - amazing. Lobby Bar - amazing. Breakfast - amazing. Rooftop bar and atmosphere - The Best! Anel really took care of me all week, along with Fast Freddy, Brenda and Paola! Get to know them, they are special people. Evening dining - average at best. Disappointing as wait times for drinks and food just not good enough. Better to go eat in town. Make no mistake, I love this place for an adults only all inclusive hotel (no room service but not needed). I will be back real soon!

I liked the amenities provided by the property and their hospitality. My only dislike is that the alcoholic beverages could have been more robust, and the rooftop music could have been more diverse.
