"The hotel’s location is outstanding - right across from Tower Bridge, which is truly incredible. However, the property itself could benefit from a complete renovation. The exterior feels somewhat worn, and both the lobby and guest rooms would improve with updates as well. I didn’t try the food, so I can’t comment on that. On a positive note, the staff were consistently friendly and welcoming throughout the stay."

"Loved absolutely everything at this hotel, from their concept to staff (super chill and friendly)! Will definitely stay again and at their other locations. We felt relaxed, welcomed and at ease. The co-working area and cafe were such a nice plus. The style of rooms and hotel spaces is cozy and very user-friendly. Cherry on top is the location (you can even see Tate Modern from some rooms, we did)! The rooms had everything we needed from spacious drawers to an amazing shower (yes, great water pressure!!), and kitchen utensils. The sectioning of the room is well-designed allowing the studio to feel like 2 separate rooms. One tiny detail on design for future Locke locations: it would be amazing to have just a bit more light in the living room (since the reflective film on the windows is darkening the room a bit). Plus, the marble headboard of the bed made us worried we’d hit it at night :) none of this is “essential” but would be an improvement to bring the quality of the stay to 120% "

"The sea container offered the best location, with five-star service. The bellmen are exceptional. The front desk and room service are delicious. I want to be in the heart of everything, enjoying a modern and vacation-like vibe. Book here"

"I was a little disappointed in our stay. The hotel and room was very tired and in need of an update. In the morning the windows were running with condensation. The windows let an awful lot of noice through and I was awake for the 3 nights listening to the roar of traffic. The restaurants attached to the hotel were very expensive and not of the best quality. I’d recommend finding somewhere else to eat. On the day of leaving we were in a rush and needed a taxi. They said to just wait out in the forecourt ans taxis arrived every few minutes and they wouldn’t specifically call a cab. After a 15 min wait we left, turned onto the road and flagged one down immediately. Very underwhelming experience. It was ok at best."

"Air conditioning was poor. It stopped from time to time by itself, causing the room to be very hot for sleep at night. There is no ventilation in the bathroom or the main room, causing the smell in the room very stiff and stale. No cellphone signal in the room, barely in the lobby either. Free internet is very slow, as they ask for additional payment for faster internet. Staff was helpful when coordinating breakfast issues."
