"This was hotel 2 of 4 hotels during our stay and was hands down our favourite. The location is really fantastic - walking distance to the restaurants and shopping. The room was clean and spacious for Japan. The beds were comfortable and the bathroom was great. We loved Kyoto all in all and this hotel definitely contributed to that experience. We would 100% stay here again. The lobby has a beautiful sitting area where you can relax with a coffee and watch all the activity out on the street. "

From the warm welcome at check-in to the thoughtful tips about luggage transfers, every interaction felt genuine and caring. I wish we had caught the name of the staff member who checked us in. She was incredibly friendly, patient, and made us feel right at home. Another thoughtful touch was the complimentary bottled water available at the front desk upon request. This is something no other hotel we stayed at offered. On top of that, the front desk staff consistently greeted us with warm smiles every time we returned to the property. It truly reflected the best customer service we experienced in Japan. The onsen was another highlight of this property. It is tattoo-friendly, spotless, and serene. It was the perfect way to unwind after a long day of exploring. You can even check how busy it is right from your hotel TV. To top it all off, the hotel’s location couldn’t be better. It is just minutes from Kawaramachi Square where you're surrounded by endless shopping and dining options. We would absolutely stay here again and recommend it to anyone visiting Kyoto."
