"The hotel itself was awesome. Huge rooms, felt safe and staff were helpful. Unfortunately it was a bit of a walk to the station, and it seemed quite far away from a lot of things. "

"As far as the staff and property and room is concerned, I give this place a 10+++. You cannot find better service and staff in all of Japan. However, the only complaint is for Americans. The breakfast is very Japanese and very limited. Also very crowded on the weekends. If you want to use the pool, you need to make an appointment for 60 minutes and the pool is always very crowded with families and children. Also, the hotel is 30 minutes away from where everything happens in Kyoto. So you should expect to be taking taxis everywhere. Other than that, the property staff and service is beyond expectations."
