"Casana Kyoto is a newly built hidden gem in a quiet residential neighbourhood near the historic Gion district. We chose it to get away from the touristy areas while having the modern conveniences of a serviced apartment, but with a traditional Japanese feel. It delivered all that and more! It's located about 15-20 min walk to the main streets and the popular Pontocho alley. Itโ€™s just 20 mins away from Fushimi Inari (1000 tori gates), and a 45 min drive of the popular Arashiyama Bamboo Forest...

"Probably one of the best hotels we have stayed in Japan! Very close to the Kyoto station and airport limousine stops. The hotel is very clean and well maintained. They offer complimentary coffee & tea in the lounge. The breakfast buffet is with it to try at least once because eating there every day is dangerous because EVERYTHING is delicious!! The customer service provided by M.Takashi and R.Niga was outstanding! They assisted us in having our luggage sent to our next hotel. Itโ€™s all these factors that will definitely have us coming back!"

"Our stay at MGH Kyoto Sanjo Premier was amazing! Our second stop during our trip to Japan, the hotel had everything we needed and was located conveniently to Karasuma Oike station. Staff was incredibly helpful in arranging luggage transfer and level of service overall was great. We did not originally opt for the breakfast when booking, but had the option to charge to the room each day as needed. Breakfast included a plated AND the buffet, so there were plenty options. Hotel restaurant leans italian so breakfast fare had some of that influence. The property, hotel, and our room was well maintained. AC worked perfectly and beds were comfortable. The only thing I would say is odd is the blinds in the shower to block the window out to the entry hallโ€ฆ but I guess it works. Toiletries are available downstairs before heading to the elevator. Laundromat in the basement is the 2-1 washer-dryer but did the trick washing. We booked the private bath rather than use the public bath and it was a lovely experience! Luxe and private. Overall would definitely stay again!!!!"
