"This place is a 5 min walk to kyoto station and has heart-in access from the hotel with your keycard to 7-eleven. Very convenient to get cash out and breakfast. Loved it!"

"Great hotel, good value for money. Very good location for the imperial palace and gardens. Subway and bus links close by plus a free shuttle bus service to a main JR line. Buffet dinner was pretty average and not worth the money. Overall very good hotel and would visit again. "

"This was our last hotel for our two week trip to Korea and Japan and we had saved the best for last. We loved the hotel. The hotel is truly a beautiful and sensory experience, from the incense in the lobby to the spa lotions and soaps. The room was spacious (especially after the cramped accommodation in Tokyo) and stylish. The spa was a real treat after a long day of walking and was nice and quiet. The staff were very attentive and interested in our day. Overall a fantastic experience. Just a few minutes walk to the market and 8-10 minutes from two different subway lines. We loved our stay here!"

"We loved the unique (by western standards) interior design and very thoughtful touches throughout the room and the hotel. This is however a high volume, high turnover hotel as a FYI for other travelers. We did not purchase the included breakfast and saw that others had to wait in line etc. Free massage chairs were awesome as were the baths. Walking distance from train station also great."
