This hotel exuded a brand-new ambiance, and the staff was exceptionally polite and respectful. Its convenient location and excellent shuttle service added to its appeal. The breakfast was a delightful experience, offering a diverse selection of Japanese and Western-style options. We’ll definitely be returning to this hotel for our next stay.

Beautiful quiet hotel in a great area. Loved that we could walk to Gion in 15 minutes. The shuttle to Kyoto station was a nice perk. The private Onsen was great as well.

Breakfast was awesome. The hotel has private spas you can rent by the hour and a foot bath in the garden. All the staff is super friendly. The hotel is outside of the crazy busy areas but is literally a 15 minute walk to the heart of Kyoto. I definitely recommend this hotel.

The staff was great as was the food. We weren’t happy with the room design ( almost no storage, room was a little small, no where in the shower room to put clean clothes and keep them dry ) . We understand the staff couldn’t redesign the room .

This is a very special hotel. It’s walking distance to Heian shrine. Lots of good hiking spots near by. The food selection is a little sparse, but there are some good spots near by. The room was very large and we got a view of a cherry tree from our room. Joshua from the staff was very nice and set us up for a great trip.
