Hiro is a real hero! He made our stay so special and an unforgettable experience. We had some travel delays and then extended our trip and he has been so flexible with everything and even gave us a ride to the train station! The place is spotless, good internet, the kitchenette made all the difference with home cooking and it's a central but quiet location. 10/10 for sure!

Fantastic hotel and 2 bed suite was amazing. We wish we’d booked longer. The happy hour was exactly what we needed, too! The free sake tasting and craft beer was so nice. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. Mimaru has a great set up and we’ll definitely use it again when we return to Japan.

Lovely hotel, with polite and helpful staff. Really useful to have a washing machine in the room. Beds were comfortable and the shower had warm water.

Amazing hotel. Location perfect. Room very spacious. Has a wardrobe and kitchenette, including a washing machine. Really handy. Bed was comfy. The best sleep we had in Japan. We'd stay here again and recommend.

Great hotel, clean and modern. Great for families with interconnecting room and plenty of space. Great location as well, 10min walk from subway and central location with plenty to do around.

The Koko Hotel residence is located in a relatively convenient place and offer generous sized rooms. We opted for a room with bunks for our family of three and it worked perfectly. The staff were great with plenty of things available to borrow for free, such as irons and hairs dryers, alongside a table full of free items that you may have forgotten. Located a 10-15 minute walk from the riverside area for restaurants and shops, I’d recommend it.

Our room was massive, even better than we could have hoped for. A small kitchen meant we could have food reheated from the host of convenience stores round the corner. We would highly recommend and would stay again in one of we had the option.

Stayed in the Pokémon room - fantastic experience for our 11 year old (and us). Very spacious room with dining table, sofa and bunk beds. Not a huge amount within walking distance of the hotel (although Teamlabs is a couple of minutes away), but as the name suggests it’s extremely convenient for the station and transport links. Convenient laundry room but no vending machines on site - 7-eleven is just around the corner.

Excellent accommodation in a great location. The studio apartment was so spacious with a comfortable bed and lounge area. If I was visiting Kyoto again I would definitely stay again. The washer dryer was so useful. In a great location to access multiple areas - surrounded by some lovely restaurants and bakeries too.

So glad I found this place. Absolutely perfect location. Everything so accessible. Extremely comfortable with everything I needed. They even include hair straighteners! Super clean and technology enabled with numeric keypad so no key card to worry about. I had room on 4th floor with river view. Room is very well equipped and spacious with desk, lounge area etc. Very comfortable beds and room. Pillows a little hard for my personal taste and minimal space around beds but this didn’t detract from...
