"perfect for 1 night. this was our second time in Great Southern Hotel Melbourne, the first was so much better, the room was bigger and had a window to the street. This time we opened the door and in less than 10 steps the bed was there, so no much room. Also at night I was freezing, not enough blankets. If you only want a place "to crash" just for a sleep and a shower next day it's perfect. "

"Location was excellent, the staff were great, and the facilities were very good overall. However, the room had not been properly cleaned when I arrived. There was rubbish under the bed, handprints on the large mirror, and old room keys that looked like they were covered in marinara sauce. Aside from that issue, the stay was good."

"Modern and clean room close to the train station and Skybus. Plenty of food options around the hotel. I wish they had more staff on because no one wanted to say hi and they were always under the pump."
